I ordered these shoes at the end of November 2008 and as of the writing of this review August 2009 the shoes are headed to the garbage. The shoes were used as a daily business casual shoe; not given any abusive use. The heel has detached from the left shoe -- in truth, thoughout the life of the shoe, the upper started to look bad almost immediately -- and because of the soft leather never polished well. The shoes were comfortable but just did not last.

I walk on concrete all day! I have tried all the shoes that claim they are comfortable and long lasting, and they have all failed on their claims very quickly. However, this shoe is worth the money! They are very stylish, comfortable, and made with top quality leather. I get compliments on their looks.

I found the Mayes shoes true to size but not to color. If you order the tan expect a brown pair to arrive. Overall, still pleased with my purchase.
