I have never been disappointed with Any Johnston Murphy shoe I have ever owned and my lastest purchase is no exception. I wear dress shoes every day and my JMs has always out lasted most other brands I have tryed. These shoes have a great look and were broken in after just a few days. Most shoe companies don't make wide shoes any more or have a limited selection. JM never disappoints.

I have now ordered roughly 7 pairs of these shoes (5 black and 2 brown) over the last few years from shoe buy. I am on my feet a lot, and am rough on shoes, so they only last me about 6 months, which is all I expect. I can wear these with a suit, business slacks, and jeans. Talk about versatile. The flat front nose give them a very masculine look, and the sole is a nice mix of leather and rubber, to afford a great grip. The comfort level is superb after break in. These are the best shoe I have worn to date and I typically buy a few back up pairs. I am dreading the day that this model is discontinued.

Truly a great shoe, fit, and width. I am very picky about my shoes as my profession requires me to be well-dressed, yet not overly flashy. These shoes (in black) are perfect so far.

Pros: Men's Johnston & Murphy Harding Panel Lace Up is a really good looking pair of shoes. The dark brown color has a waxy sheen to it, which makes it stand out. These shoes easily go along with a pair of jeans or khakis. The leather is a little stiff, but it's very sturdy. When scratched, it's easy to wax and buff to look like new.Cons: This shoe is a little narrow and also the heel is very hard so careful walking over in-door floorboards. You might just mar the floorboards like I did, especially when there are rocks/debris on your shoe. Also, the sole is comfortable, but not as comfortable as my Johnston & Murphy Bicycle Shuler.

Initially, I was put off by the feel of the leather, the glue smell of the shoe and the fact that this seemingly higher end brand was made in China. After wearing the shoes 2-3 times per week for 2 years and being on my feet 8-9 hours per day, I can attest to the fact that they have remained supportive, still look good and have worn well. I expect to get another year out of them. The only thing that has worn in 2 years is the ends of the laces. Overall, I would recommend the shoe as it looks good, is comfortable, is durable and is worth the money.
