I bought this sandal because it was the only men's sandal I could find that had a leather sole. My wife & I are planning to vacation in Hawaii, and we like to dance. Usually a leather sole is best for social dancing, but an oxford would look out of place with shorts. This sandal should be fine with shorts or slacks. It takes alittle work to get on, but once on the foot it feels just a little wide. This is a very high quality and classy looking sandal!

I bought the sandals for formal summer dress. It is a good looking sandal and can be used for all occasions. You can easly dress up or down with the shoes. I am very pleased with the purchase.I plan to wear them at a wedding in August.

The shoe is a little tighter then I like but again good leather will give a little so I believe over time of wearing the shoe it will fit well.
