I have been wearing these high quality shoes, made in India, only one week. They are exactly as advertised but not as good as they used to be. Only the very high end are made in the USA now. J&M web site claims the India-made Deerfields are rebuildable/refurbishable. We shall see. The other (US made) pair I have are 20 yrs old, are on 4th gen soles and still look good.
