This is my second pair of Deerfied II's. The first pair I owned lasted for 6 years without needing to be re-soled or re-crafted. When it came time to buy another dress shoe, I have been so comfortable with Deerfields that I bought them again. They are super easy to slip on / off going through airport security. They look fabulous during the work week and for dinner in the City. I'm actually thinking about buying another pair colored Cordovan to complement the black ones I already have.
