I've had Burks before and find that they are comfortable and wear well. The initial fit can be inconsistent and this pair was a bit tight across the foot. However, after a few days in a shoe tree, they loosened up and fit well now.

This is hands down my favorite work shoe. I have a thin foot and Burks comes in a narrow width. A classy, polished, and comfortable work shoe.

I have 4 pairs of these shoes and despite the listing saying they are made in Italy as they always were, they are, in fact, made in India. Now these are a much cheaper shoe for the same price. They are not the same as they were. Shoes appear to be very cheap. They do not seem like the will hold up for any length of time and are about 1/2 the weight of the other pairs I own. I was very disappointed to have to return them because I loved them when they were made in Italy.
