This comfortable qaulity nubuck upper features compo bondwelt construction for lightweight comfort. Leather lining provides breathability and an enhanced fit. Features a leather covered latex insole for flexibility and cushioning. The rubber/EVA outsole and heel provides flexibility, shock absorption and traction. Airport friendly non-metallic shank.

I bought this pair of shoes simply because Johnston & Murphy white bucks, for me, represent the perfect example of the shoes that one would see paired with seersucker suits or jackets, button down oxfordshirts and striped repp ties at summer social gatherings throughout New England. I grew up in Massachusetts and summered in Maine and the outfit I describe was the standard "uniform" for afternoon and early evening get-togethers.So, in wearing these shoes, I am taking a trip back to my boyhood

I'm very happy with these shoes. They're simple, white, durable, and look great. An option for a black sole would have been nice. I anticipate maintaining the white leather will be difficult, but it's well worth it.
