I have now bought these boots for 3 of my nephews. They all love them and my youngest nephew loves them so much he wears them every day even with shorts. They all love that they are water proof and that they can run in them. The only issues is the top of the boot tends to rub against their leg when new. High socks, breaking them in or a little tap along the top edge easily solves that problem. I now have to buy my youngest nephew a pair every year. Its the only thing he wanted this year. My nephews live in WA, MT and AK - lots of wet weather, snow, rain and puddles.

Bought the boots for my grandson and he loves them! Wears them everywhere, even to play in his middle school concert last night. The leather is soft and he finds them very comfortable. Spilled cider at Thanksgiving came right off with a damp cloth, so we both love them. They seem well made with quality materials and I expect them to last a long time. I hope John Deere continues to make them so I can continue to buy them for him as he grows. Thanks, John Deere!
