This is a fine pair of boots. It's hard to find a pair of size 17 boots that fit as advertised but, look no further! They are just wide enough and are not sloppy around my heel. Furthermore, they are extremely water resistant. I recommend a coat of shoe polish for looks and extended durability.

I love the John Deere waterproof wellingtons. I use them on my homestead farm in Vermont where we raise sheep, pigs, rabbits and layer hens. Walking on the dew-covered fields in the morning or in the rain is no problem with these wellingtons. My feet stay nice and dry. The 10" leather uppers protect my legs from brambles and thistles. The gortex liner allows my foot to breath and the foot bed has lots of support. I use this boot 3 seasons: spring, summer and fall here in New England. I love this boot!
