My grandson has a wide foot, so we were concerned that he wouldn't be able to wear the boots, but they fit very well and he loves them!

We ordered a size 1.5 for my son for a blacksmithing class. He really wears a 13.5. He couldn't even get the 1.5 on so we reordered it in a 2.5. He does have a somewhat high instep. He can get the 2.5 on. It's longish in fit at that size, indeed, but he loves the boots. I think they're quite beautiful too.
