This all over black rubber 12" insulated waterproof safety toe rubber wellington front lace boot is waterproof with vulcanized construction, rubber grid outsole with heel kick plate, steel shank, and a foot insulated with 400 grams of thinsulate ultra insulation. Also features a non-removable stainless steel puncture resistant full sole plate, diamond plate rubber toe/heel guard, flexible internal metatarsal guard that meets the ASTM M I75/C75 requirements, and a safety toe that is ASTM I75/C75 standard. Features a removable John Deere air flow comfort orthotic system insert. Provides electrical hazard safety protection.

Good boots. I've had them about a month now and they're comfortable. A little on the heavy side, but you get used to it. The medi-carpal protector comes up a little onto the front ankle, which is good for protection, but it does kind of rub the shin a little; but you do get used to it and it's not too bad with socks. Good traction on the sole rubber. I climb hillsides a lot. We'll see how well they last. My last 2 pairs of Kamiks disintegrated in one year. These JD's seem to be much better quality rubber. They've got a good, comfortable insert in them. The laces are not really functional or necessary and they're too long; no a big deal though. The boots do fit inside my levi's, which is nice for keeping the wood chips out while using the chainsaws.

Likes: The boot is very comfortable and does what I want it to do.Dislikes: I just wish they could have put comfort strip on the top inside because it does chaff a little when worn inside pants.
