This shoe is made from a very soft, high quality, buttery leather. I also like the moderate heel height for comfort. They are suprisingly comfortable overall right out of the box. I found the heel strap to be just about right - maybe a tiny bit loose on me but that's better than being too tight. I got these to wear with my dressier summer shorts and cropped trousers for work. They keep this kind of overall look sleek and sophisticated without adding unecessary bulk. I'm sure they'll also look cute with some slimmer fitting boyfriend jeans I just bought. I think the style is timeless and refined. I got the the tan color which works with everything.
