Ordered these for my daughter for her birthday. She already owns two other pairs but wanted the black ones for dressy occasions. These are perfect already knew what size to order. She was so surprised and excited to received the package at college!

I bought this to replace a beloved black sandal of a roughly similar design that after years started to fall apart. I like the Jack Rogers Palm Beach sandals in general, but turns out black is the least flattering of its colors. The black-on-black means the design is basically invisible, whereas the other JR colors have a bit of contrast so you can see the design. There was a different JR make than Palm Beach - Georgica - that was about 1/3 higher price, and its black version was a lot cuter but unavailable in my size.

At first glance these shoes are fabulous. I tried them on and was a bit worried as the leather felt a little stiff. Within 10 minutes of wearing around the house they were completely comfortable. These flats go with dress pants or casual attire. The only thing I wish were a bit better is the padding in the heel which it does not really have. At the end of the days your heels may hurt a bit if you have walked a lot. But, the look and overall comfort is worth the hard heels.

Shoes were true to size (don't order down a size) and fit my feet. I have relatively normal width feet so if you have very wide feet I wouldn't recommend these. They did cause blisters on the sides of my feet and in between my toes for the first week or so as I broke them in, but then they were extremely comfortable. I bought a second pair a few weeks later and they did not cause blisters and I did not need to break them in at all!
