I am a pharmacist and stand on my feet all day long. I buy a new pair of these every single year. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worked in and my back doesn't ache when I wear them on the concrete floors at work.

The Irish Setter left me unimpressed. It's a good shoe, just not a great one. A shoe that fits well, wears well, but somehow doesn't transcend into a shoe that one would recommend to another. It feels like a good shoe made by a big company, something form-made, without any hand stitching. Only the test of time will tell if it is truly a good shoe.

I purchased these shoes for my husband who is the hardest person to please when it comes to buying shoes. Not only does the sole of the shoe have to be high quality, the look needs to be professional, yet casual for everyday. Also he wears a size 14 wide, he always feels the few shoes he has found look funny on his feet. But these shoes fit the bill for all his needs and wants, he says these are the best shoes he has ever owned.
