These shoes replaced a pair of Irish Setter Anglers which just would not wear out but started to show their age. These I have just received are an excellent replacement.

My husband was looking for a sturdy, attractive slip-on shoe with good support and a comfortable foot bed. He's had other loafer-style or boat shoes that even needed an added inner-sole because the soles were too thin. He loves this shoe!

I purchased these because of the Irish Setter name. I have worn many Irish Setter/Redwing shoes over the past 20 years. I bought these before a trip to see my daughter and after wearing these for a 1 1/2 weeks my heel was very sore and almost felt bruised. After returning to a more comfortable pair of shoes my feet feel fine. I was somewhat disappointed in the comfort.
