These shoes were VERY comfortable right out of the box. I now prefer to buy sandals with a slingback rather than slides. I had been considering this sandal for awhile but I wasn't sure that I would be happy with the strap so high but when I was able to purchase, I thought that I would give it a try. So happy that I did. The only change that I would make in this sandal is thinner straps. I prefer thinner straps and not so much 'shoe', particularly in a sandal. However, these sandals were so comfortable I shopped for more sandals in this line.
