I bought these boots for my brother for a Christmas gift. He lives where it gets really cold. When asked if the boots fit and he liked them he said he'd worn them for 12 hours the first day. 'nuff said!

I am an avid walker who has been frustrated over the years by winter injuries due to slipping. The first road test was 4 miles long on asphalt streets which were sometimes covered by snow and ice. I had a little more foot-fatigue than usual, but the shoes were comfortable, roomy enough for my Keen heavyweight socks. The removable insole allowed me to use a 9mm heel lift, and the shoelaces remained firmly tied with no stretching. I didn't have to adjust my gait at all, and am thrilled with the freedom to walk again. Next adventure takes them off-road this weekend.

I normally wear my leather hiking boots in the winter time on my daily NH walk. I needed some new ones so found these ice bugs online. Great tread on the soles. I love how light they feel on my feet compared to my leather hiking boots. I wear thick hiking socks with them so I ordered a half size larger. Great fit.
