Midcalf height with full zip combines convenience with snowdrift defence; the ripstop nylon, leather, and synthetic delivers a performance blend of lightness, quick-dry, pliable comfort and abrasion resistance.

I bought it because my daughter had a similar Icebug, which I tried on and it fit well. I like it because it is waterproof and we have a lot of rain here. In your description, it would be helpful if you told that the soles have metal spikelets. I had assumed they would be composition cleats. The metal makes it uncomfortable to walk on smooth surfaces, and of course, they cannot be worn indoors. The laces seem superfluous and kept untying, so I took them off.
