The Energy style is a slip-on moc with style and comfort. Waterproof with full grain leather uppers and stitched seams that are sealed to prevent water penetration.
Direct attach construction and Stroebel construction creates a permanent chemical bond between the leather upper and outsole which provides for long wearing durability and shock absorbing comfort.
Lightweight polyurethane midsole fused with TPU outsole for abrasion resistance, leather quarter and tongue lining with fabric vamp for climate control comfort. Padded instep and collar provide ankle cushioning.
Hush Puppies® Strike-Back™ gel heel pad provides additional cushioning during heel strike. ABS shank supports the mid-foot arch area. It is airport friendly.

I have been searching for a waterproof slip-on shoe for about 8 months and am thrilled with the Hush Puppies Energy shoes. It is a replacement for my Eastland shoes that they no longer make.

I had a pair of brown ones and just bought a black pair. I have very wide and big feet. Add to that I have to wear prescription sole inserts. These shoes are great with them. The podiatrist wanted me to take out the gel sole and replace it with the Rx one. With these, I don't have to. Since I travel, slip-ons are great through airports. Because of my foot shape, slip-ons can be problematic. But with the internal shape of these, coupled with the soft flexible collar, my feet are held in these very nicely. The looks are just right for business casual or with jeans. I also ordered a pair of slighly dressier HPs, but wound up returning them because these felt so good on my feet. These are as good as, or better than my best sneakers for comfort. My only regret is that they don't offer the tan in 13 4W.

This is my second pair of Hush Puppies Energy shoe.The shoe is comfortable, good looking and practically indestructible. Water never bothers them. I wear them 80% of the time I'm on my feet.

Good shoe. No dislikes. Nice enough to wear with casual attire (e.g khakis, jeans) and rugged enough to be worn during outdoor activities. Not a dress shoe. I have an extra wide and it fits wider than most extra wide shoes.
