The McTavish Fisherman is constructed from light weight American hides that are pre-broken in with oiled canvas inserts and calf leather linings for comfort.
The shoe also has wrap up rubber outsoles with EVA drop-in's for all day wearability and a four layer removable structured comfort insole for all day support.

This shoe has a "great look" and is very comfortable. To me it has a little more "personality" than the traditional fisherman sandal. I have several pair of similar shoes but find myself defaulting to the Trask Mctavish Fisherman's Sandals more often than not.

As with all H.S. Trask shoes, these fisherman style sandals are a noteworthy example of the quality of materials, and construction they put into their shoes. I bought these for use as a step above a casual type sandal, and they are exactly what I was hoping for. They look very stylish, the comfort and fit are perfect, and they feel like walking on air. These are the finest sandals of this fisherman type that I have ever bought. Highly recommended. I would and will buy another pair of these in the future.
