Product Description (Men's H.S. Trask Electric City)
This oxford delivers on the willingness to take risks and realize the promise of potential, as did the dam project prompting Great Falls to be called Electric City, the first major city powered by hydroelectric energy.
Fit:This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

Dreadful shoe, it's bulky, heavy and stiff. After 3-4 days of trying and sore feet, they've gone into the Goodwill bag. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

Perfect for dockers and jeans. Could even work with slacks and a shirt/tie, but I live in Colorado, not New York. Very comfortable as have been my previous Trasks.

I was looking for something that would last and provide comfort, plus look good with chinos. I wear a 13W, so fit is important. My father has had a pair of Trask shoes for several years and a couple friends still wear theirs after 10 years.

Very Disappointed

We make every effort to 'buy American.' The Trask website says these are American-made shoes and that's the reason we chose them. When they arrived, under the tongue of the shoe it says they are imported! To add injury to insult, they are way too small anyway.

HS Trask Electric City

I was a long time HS Trask customer and purchased many pairs of their Gallitan style that were made in Brazil. They were comfortable out the box and nicely made in black or my favorite "Raisin" color. I was surprised recently to see that it has been discontinued so I tried the China made Electric City because they looked similar. I was disappointed in them for several reasons. The leather was cheap looking and had sort of a matte finish that scuffed easily and didn't take polish very well. There was also a slight defect where the stitching goes into the plastic looking sole at the toe. They were longer than the Gallitans with stiff bulky laces that my pant legs kept getting hung up on. Most of all they were uncomfortable and and after wearing for several painful weeks, are now in the basement.
