I bought these boots for an upcoming trip to Israel. I knew I needed to have sturdy and comfortable boots. These Merrell's are honestly the comfiest shoes I have ever worn! The fit is incredible. The tread on the bottom is very sufficient and will be perfect for the rocky terrain I'll be traveling on. I cannot recommend these boots more. I range from a size 9 to 9 1/2 with most shoes and the 9 1/2 for these boots fits me perfectly. I've worn them in down pouring rain and my feet stayed perfectly dry. I love, love, love these boots!

I sprained an ankle and have since developed problems with arch and arthritis. With this boot, I am on the move again! I can imagine how great they would feel for someone without foot problems. I did add an orthotic from the Doc, but had I not had this issue, the insoles that came in the boot would be more than adequate, for comfort and support. We've had some miserable weather this winter and my feet have been warm and dry. I feel very sure footed and stable in these boots. I just ordered Columbia boots to try.....they are going back and I'm in a hurry to order another pair of these. Size 11 in the Merrell boots look not so bad, ( and that's saying a lot) But in the Columbia boots, they look like 3 sizes bigger! I'm very happy with these boots!
Wears this shoe: all the time that I dont need a dressy shoe.

I love the look of these boots. They are very comfortable but the shoe laces will not stay tied. I have had these about a year now and water has started to seep through from somewhere when I wear them out in the weather which is everyday. I am a delivery person and do lots of walking. I have to take an extra pair of boots to put on about mid way through the day if working in wet weather because my feet get wet. If it is just a dry day I am alright. Love the color and the fit but get tired of tying shoelaces and changing shoes everyday.

I love these boots. I ordered my 2nd pair a year ago. I bought my first boots four years ago. I hike every weekend (close to the mountains). I wear these boots year around. They are not too hot in the summer. Waterproof for the spring, winter, and fall. There is not a break in period. The boots are so comfortable the first time you put them on and thereafter. They are 1/2 size too large even if you wear thick socks. I highly recommend these boots.
