Apex V751 Voyage Trail Runner
Good quality shoes so far
January 31, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous from Wisconsin
Shoes have only been worn once so far, so the true test will be when we take them to Canada and hike the Rockies. They seem like really good quality. Nothing chintzy at all. I have a feeling they are going to be worth every penny. They are comparable to a pair I bought from Lands' End years and years ago that I really liked and held up well.

I wish the tongue was longer, not sure why it's so short. After 1 week, I like the shoe and it seems to be good quailty.

Lowa Tempest III Lo
Backpacker Got It Right
December 15, 2012
Reviewer: Strider from Kansas City, MO
I've been wearing my first pair of these for only a few days. The most helpful comment I can offer to prospective buyers is that I think they run a tad small. I wear size 10.5 in some brands (like Vasque) and 11 in others (like Merrill). I ordered the Lowa Tempest Lo in size 11 and they are barely long enough. I also have narrow feet and these shoes are snug enough for me, even with lighter hiking socks than I normally use. Backpacker Mag strongly recommended these shoes with this caveat: Best for low volume feet and consider order 1/2 size larger than normal. I think that's correct.

Hi-Tec Berkeley
Terrible
August 24, 2012
Reviewer: Adam from United States
I received these shoes and liked them from the start. Only for 2 weeks though. I felt that I feet were catching on something, just thought it was because I had new tread, my previous shoes were worn flat. I looked and found the heal was peeling away from the bottom of shoe, on both shoes at the same spot. Am currently awaiting replacement information.
