I started college this year, and bought this for a long-term schoolbag. Luckily for me, this bag is big enough to carry my laptop in the back compartment and my books in the zippered area under the flap! It's also a messenger style, which is great for students because it's so hands-free. I don't go anywhere on campus without it - definitely the best school purchase I've ever made!
