The day after these shoes arrived, I took them out on a 2 day hike through some tough wilderness. Lots of mud, standing water, slick rocks, and potential ankle breakers. They came through fantastic, my feet felt like I had been for a walk at the park afterwards. I've been buying Hi-tec hiking shoes for several years from Shoebuy, I wear them to work, leisure, and lots of rugged hiking trips. They've always proven to be very durable, waterproof, and painless. Of course, after about a year of wear, I try to trade them in for a new pair, but they could still keep going. I've never really worn out a pair.
