Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedI bought these boots for my son. He needed a Hiking boot for a hike up Mt.Washington with his Boy Scout Troop. I was a little nervous sending him with a pair of brand new boots that weren't broken in yet, but to my surprise he said that they were very comfortable and returned from the trip with not one blister. I would recommend these boots to anyone who was looking for a comfortable, affordable hiking boot.

The brand seems to all run small, I buy one full size up and does great. Both my son and daughter say the shoes fit really well, and they last!! Very durable for hiking. My sons feet are reg to slightly wide, my daughter's feet are 'wide' and Hi-Tec shoes work well for them even though the shoes are not marked as wide.

The inside of this shoe is well sealed to prevent water from coming in, and the gusseted tongue is a nice touch.However, this shoe runs smaller than marked, so buy a larger size than you usually wear.

They are very sturdy and keep his feet warmer and dryer than the athletic shoes he wore before. He also likes the way they look; he feels they give him a more macho appearance. I'm sure when it is time to buy school shoes again he'll vote for another pair just like them.
