Kept the shoes, but they were 1/2 size short and a little narrower than I like. Had to trim my custom insole or it curled up in front so I know it wasn't a true 15. They are comfortable walking shoes. I don't think I'd wear them everyday, but the break-in has been going well. Wish they were a tad wider and my foot doesn't measure as wide, but I do have some metatarsalgia (foot sensitivity/pain).
Wears this shoe: Every 2-3 days and when taking a walk.

I got this shoe on a hunch in preparation for a trip to the islands of Greece a couple of years ago. It was an incredible choice that was made totally by luck! The reason I am writing this review is cuz I bought another pair just in case Hi-Tec ever made the mistake of stopping the production of this shoe. Climbing on the stones that comprised the various temples and towns of Sicily, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Patmos, the ruins of Ephasus, these shoes were the thing. The perfect choice: Light, supportive. Very great. I live in Minnesota and have taken many dozens of winter hikes in these shoes with only one layer of cotton socks and they keep my feet comfy. These are super shoes. Get some. Before they stop makin' 'em.
Wears this shoe: Hiking or running day to day errands in the winter. Obviously not in the deep.

Hi-Tec Equals Big Win

I've had this same shoe in the past so I knew how good it would be. I mow lawns everyday for several hours so I'm on my feet a lot. It's important to have foot comfort. With this shoe I get exactly that. The only thing that's kind of annoying is the hooks on the top. But that's just my preference in taste. I find with any shoe the best way to have total comfort is to buy a Dr. Scholls footpad. I used to get foot pains, blisters, etc. Then after I got the footpads my feet have been happy ever since. I'm sure the shoes by themselves are great too. But If you want the best go for the combo of shoes and footpads. That's my humble opinion. I'm a bigger guy too so that shows how durable they are.

I like that it arrived promptly and met all my expectations. It might have been a bit more narrow than expected but perhaps it is just my wide foot.
Wears this shoe: Hiking in Southwest and through wood in NE
