These boots have a waterproof (seam-sealed) nubuck leather upper and a soft padded leather collar with a full gusseted leather tongue.
They are made with rustproof brass hardware and a removable sockliner.
It is board lasted with a steel shank for added rigidity.

I bought this hiking boot for my 11 year old daughter to use on our vacation out west. She only had a couple of days to wear the boots around the house to break them in, but commented that they felt very comfy. In spite of the short break-in time, the boots were comfortable and provided the needed ankle protection on a 6 mile hike in Yellowstone. This was the fourth pair of Hi-Tec children's hiking boots I have bought and I would definitely recommend them.
ALL AROUND GREAT PAIR OF BOOTS!

We appreciate the quality of this particular boot. Our son wears these boots for showing livestock so we need a durable waterproof boot that can be worn all day long. We need the assurance that our son's feet will feel the same from the time he puts them on to when he takes them off. His feet stay dry and comfy all day! Great boots!
