These shoes are made with waterproof (seam-sealed) nubuck leather uppers and soft leather padded collars
It has a fully gusseted leather tongue and 200g Thinsulate® insulation.
This shoe is made with rustproof brass hardware, a lightweight compression-molded EVA midsole, and a steel shank for added rigidity.
It also has a durable carbon rubber outsole and a comfort-tec removable sockliner.

My husband and I both wear Hi=Tec boots for work. We powerwash houses for a liveing. The boots stay waterproof for most of the season, which is better than most because of the constant exposure to water and detergent. They have a good sole for roof walking. Most importantly they are very comfortable.

This boot is well made and comfortable as soon as you put it on. I've worn them for a couple of one hour "break-in" hikes and feel like I could easily hike all day in them.

Warm, comfortable, waterproof, and available in widths. I've had a pair for a year and just bought a second pair for the future because I liked the first pair so much. Reasonable price, too.
