Originally branded under Joffrion, HERSTAR™ was founded by Holly and Michael Joffrion in 2007. Shoe designer Holly Joffrion created a purple and gold fashion heel, and her avid sports fan husband Michael couldn't see past it being his team's colors. In 2011 Joffrion was rebranded into HERSTAR™ when Holly was searching for the right pair of shoes to wear to an Orlando Magic game. When her search turned up no results, Holly launched a full line of uniquely colored pumps representing fan's favorite teams. Pleasantly surprised by the success, Holly and Michael continue to push the limits with new designs and nurture HERSTAR's growth. Now a unique global leader in women's sports merchandising, HERSTAR™ designs, develops and markets sports fashion footwear & apparel that appeals to women who seek a unique take on sports fashion. HERSTAR's vision is to allow women to beautiful and feminine while still being the passionate sports fans we know and love. Their success stems from their passionate employees, high-quality, varied product offering, diversified domestic and international distribution channels, and targeted multi-channel marketing. With more than 400 styles, HERSTAR™ meets the needs of female sports fans across every age and demographic. The company has two distinct categories: a fashion sports footwear division that includes the famous suede and crystal pumps for the NBA teams, as well as sororities, cheerleaders, and charities, and a corporate fashion division that caters to women in business striving to expand their corporate apparel beyond the polo and loafer.
