This hat is absolutely the lightest hat you can buy. It's made of a SPF 40-50 screen that protects you against the sun. I have both the green and the khaki hats and like them both.

I am very pleased with my Henschel mesh hat. I wear a size 8 and was delighted to find my size. It has an ample brim, SPF factor of 45 and was made in the USA! I am looking forward to fishing in it while keeping cool and being protected from the sun's rays.

My husband has an unusually large head and he could never find a hat that fit him. Since I purchased this hat for him, he hasn't removed it from his head. He enjoys it so much I'm thinking about getting him a spare.

The hat is all mesh except for the green parts. The rest of the hat is light green. It is very light and if it lives up to it's spf45 rating, whopee!!
