I needed a nice straw type hat for the summer to replace a worn straw hat I had. I have another Henschel hat and think their products are decent quality. This hat was definitely worth it.The hat is heavier than you might expect and the weave is tight,so you don't get the breeze you might get from looser straws, but it is still much cooler than felt and it is blocking more sun than a looser weave straw or a mesh hat.
