My 19 year old LIVES in these for last two years--has one brown and 2 black pairs. Have to be reheeled occasionally. The leather is very rugged but comfortable. My husband just received his as was looking covetously at my son's boots. He even wore them once to the office with dress slacks and everyone wants them. And we live in south Florida, so they are often getting wet, but doesn't seem to bother them much. Boot socks are necessary for greater comfort. I thought the style had been discontinued, so glad to see it here. And I LOVE Shoebuy. People can't believe I send shoes to my kids in college!
