This shoe fit perfectly the first time I wore them. The grey was a little darker than the picture, but not enough that it was a 'different' color than I was expecting. Note that they are pretty warm since they are wool. They kept my feet toasty which is great for Alaska, but maybe not Florida. I got many compliments on these. Haflinger makes quality shoes, and this one is super cute, and quality!

This is an exceptional shoe. My podiatrist suggestred I purchase a pair of haflinger clogs to help alleviate the stress on my achilles tendon. It worked beautifully. My achilles tendon is healing and now it doesn't look like I will need surgery. The tension is still damages from an accident I had last summer, but when I wear the clogs I am not in any pain. I cannot wear them with socks but that is not a problem for me. My feet are snuggly warm without being hot or sweaty, even without socks. I developed a sore on the top of my feet from the clog rubbing. I should have ordered a bigger size, but I had already worn them for teo weeks when the sore started, so I jsut healed it and covered it with a bandaid until it was healed. I get comments all the time of how much people like the sunflowers. They are fun to wear. I wear them with slacks, blue jeans, dresses and skirts.Truly a remarkable shoe. So far I have worn them in the winter, so I don't know how they will before summer use. I'll miss my sandals, but if these keep my foot form hurting, I'm willing to wear them all year round.

One reason I use this shoe instead of slippers is the support. Some years back I had plantar faciitis and the Haflinger provided great support for my heel. While I marked true to size, there is plenty of room for socks, though I wear them barefooted.
Wears this shoe: any time when at home--my winter shoe.
