This is a warm shoe for indoor comfort. It has a hard sole but I wouldn't recommend them for outside use beyond walking to the curb for the newspaper. It has good arch support for someone with plantar faciitis. I would order one size larger as they run small. I would recommend this slipper-style shoe to a friend.

This is my second pair of Haflingers. Although I'm a little worried about my toes poking through the wool without leather reinforcements, these shoes are super comfortable and help wick away sweat.

I like the shape but the felt feels wimpy. It could easily have been heavier and would seem more durable. I have some other boiled wool slippers that are much heavier. I worry that in time my toes will poke through.

I work in an on-site construction office and must go from carpeted inside to outside 50 times a day. These slippers keep my feet warm and are easy to remove and replace on my feet as I come and go into and out of my boots. The tread is minimal so I don't carry large clods of dirt with me if I step out to call to the workmen.
Wears this shoe: All day and then at evening at home when I am not wearing my Haflinger clogs
