Born previously made a closed-toe sandal (Women's) that was the best, most comfortable shoe I'd ever owned. I still have my 7-year-old pair, although they're falling apart. Born, unfortunately, doesn't make them any more (they have closed-toe sandals, but these have straps on the back, which my original pair didn't have. The Haflinger pair took some getting used to. I had to break them in and have noticed that in the steamy summer, my feet sweat in these. After a couple of weeks of wear, they're more comfortable. They're easy to slip on, but I could never take a long walk in them the way I did with the Born sandals. Unfortunately, I was comparing Haflinger sandals to the best sandals I've ever had, so that makes this review skewed. I would probably get another pair (unless Born decided to make those sandals again).

This is the 3rd pair of Haflinger closed toe sandal clogs I have worn and I love them!After a brief breaking in period they feel like an old friend. I did go up a size from the last time I bought a pair - they do not have 1/2 sizes so I would suggest moving up to the next size. My last pair went 7 years so the price may be a bit hight but well worth the extra!

I don't like this shoe because the tab hits my ankle. I love haflingers normally but this is just too high up on the ankle to be comfortable.
