I have hardwood floors and these slippers provide cushion, support, warmth and stability. Having said that, I ordered size 39(8) which I wear in all other shoes, but these are too loose, especially in the heel and even with socks. The length is fine so going down to the next size would be too short. I've kept them because the other features outweigh the slipping of the heel but I do wish they fit a little better.

And after purchasing the "Boiled Wool" slipper we are now engaged. They call to me from my closet to wear whenever I'm at home. They are so comfortable and with the hard sole arch support a perfect combination. In my opinion well worth the high price, but when your in love, caution goes with the wind.

I purchased for my elderly father and he requires a higher back to use. These slippers had that feature and worked well.

This is absolutely the best slipper ever. It offers arch support, which I truly needed, and is wide enough to give my toes "wiggle" room. They are so comfortable. I can't wait to get home to put them on my feet.
