This is the second winter in New England that I havepurchased and worn a pr. of Haflinger closed heel grizzles for my every day, always ready comfort andlooks good if I need to run out to the post office or store. I don't even change my shoes when I walk on my treadmill, the grizzles do a great job! I have put an insert in mine as I have a very high arche and it works great!

Even with wool socks I was unable to keep the shoe on but since they fit my daughter, she gets them for Christmas. I do wish there was a narrower one available.

I needed a shoe that would provide warmth, support and ease while being sturdy enough for indoor/outdoor use. The outdoor use is more casual; short walks, errands. Still I wanted the transition to be comfortable and practical enough that I didn't have to change shoes. I'm very pleased with the appearance and the utility of this pair of shoes.

I like these slippers. They are a little lower in the heel than I would have preferred and the sole is thicker and stiffer than I expected. Overall however I like them very much. They are warm, comfortable and seem to have the full Haflinger quality.
