Danner Danner 453 GTX 5.5" ST
Don't fit well
March 13, 2013
Reviewer: CSN from GreenBay, WI
Don't like them at all, too narrow. I have a pair of Danner 1200 gram hunting boots and LOVE them. Fit perfect, warm, comfortable so I bought these, same size and width and they're too narrow and not comfortable at all. Very regrettable purchase.

I have bought Danners for years now and this is the first pair that I do not like. Instead of the 4.5 inch its now 6", almost a full boot and very uncomfortable.

Danner Corvallis GTX 5" Non-Metallic Toe
Best work boots I have ever owned.
December 10, 2012
Reviewer: Ampsquare from Sacramento, CA
I discovered Danner about eight years ago and was very happy with the comfort and durability compared to several other brands I had tried. I would wear the GTX hiker/work boot prior to the Corvallis style which has been around for a couple of years now. Basically, the Corvallis fits like a glove right out the box, and lasts me over a year not to mention they look great as well. There is a review which says the boots fall apart and with the six or seven pairs I have owned this could not be further from my experience. I am about to buy my second pair and plan on sticking with the Corvallis until I don't need work boots anymore.
