These look very nice. Not too casual, not too formal. Very comfortable after breaking them in.

Gravity Defyer - 1st time buyer impression

I purchased this shoe because I was intrigued by the springs in the sole. I do a lot of walking at conferences and business travel, and my feet always get achy and blistery. The quality of the shoe is excellent, with buttery leather and solid soles. On first trial, it fit well, but walking in them does take quite a bit of getting used to; more than I expected. The angling of the foot is skewed high to the heel, which adds about an inch of height. This feels funny to me as a guy (I imagine like high heels must be for women).Wearing the shoes for the first week or so, I ended up with pretty bad irritation on the back of my ankle, where this shoe rubs much higher than anything I have ever had on before. After 2 weeks, that spot is calloused, and it is no longer a problem. I would encourage a new user to stick with them for 2 weeks, allowing a weekend of not wearing them in between.

Runs small, but a great shoe!

I really like the look of the shoe. It takes a while to break in, but great after that initial break in time. The shoe definitely runs small and narrow, so you might want to order a size bigger. Overall, I love the shoe and it had made a huge difference on my knees and back! I would recommend this shoe to everyone.
