I like the shoe, however, it was a smidge wider than the Trotters 12N which fits me perfectly. The grasshopper is much better sized than previous years, though. As I recall, it used to run extremely large.

Bought this shoe for my 94 year old aunt. She loves this shoe. she said it fits her foot like a glove and it is real comfortable. She liked it so much, I bought her another pair. She now has a black and a bone pair.

One pair was spot on for size, but a bit narrow. I've had these before so know they will stretch a bit. Great shoe model for irritable feet! The second pair of the same shoe came with the left shoe a bit too narrow in the meditarsal area. It appears that in construction, the area of stitching forward of the gusset was too tight and is not in a position to stretch. I will return this pair.

I do a lot of walking and have wide, gnarly feet that are difficult to fit. I took a chance on these Grasshoppers as I wanted a casual shoe that was stylish without an 'orthopedic' look to it. I love these shoes; I smile every time I put them on because they're so comfortable - no pinching, no blisters. I think they're excellent value and will buying another pair soon.
