Good to wear with black sneakers

I bought these socks to wear with black sneakers since white doesn't always look good. They are a bit thicker than I thought they'd be, so I am interested to see how they feel during the summer. In winter, they were great. They enabled me to have cover for my feet yet not go up past my ankle like a regular sock.
