Constructed of 98% mercerized cotton and 2% stretch nylon in toe for all day comfort and support. These are great socks--dressy yet very comfortable. The top is nonbinding and the cotton makes them breathable. Wish they came in brown! Definitely would recommend these.

My Gold Toe lisle socks are really great, except they wear out a little too soon. Otherwise they fit great and are very comfortable.

Good things are afoot May 14, 2012

My husband loves these socks, which he wears to work every day. We live in hot, humid Florida, so the 100% cotton and light weave are important aspects of this sock. He also finds the non-binding top comfortable.Color fading was previously an issue until I began to use Woolite Complete to wash the socks in a cool/cold cycle.The sock heels wear quite faster than others, perhaps they could be reinforced a bit. My thought is a double or triple weave in that area would eliminate the problem.Otherwise, we are pleased to have discovered the Gold Toe English Ribbed Lisle socks and are closing on a decade of ordering them each year.

These socks are for my husband who likes all cotton socks, individual size (which cannot be found in stores) and also do not have elastic around the ankle to stop circulation in older people who have problems with their feet. The cotton lets the foot breathe.
