Ordered gold toe cotton crew socks for husband. Socks very comfortable with work boots and pull up tall enough to keep from slipping down into boots.

Was curious about the Gold Toe socks since I've read a lot of reviews on it. I was kind of disappointed. Don't get me wrong. These socks are ok but when I read some of the reviews raving about the snugness of the fit it was kind of a letdown when I put them on since they weren't as snug as the Champions branded socks I got from Costco. Having said that, these socks do seem to let your feet "breathe" more and if you are the type that sweats a lot these socks should make a bit of a difference for you.
