Aqua FX® is a Moisture Control® system using technical fibers that absorb moisture and transport the moisture quickly to the external surface of the sock.
Feet stay drier and more comfortable all day long with AquaFX®.
Contains: 70% mercerized cotton; 15% aquaroad nylon; and 3% spandex (Grey Heather: 70% combed cotton; 12% stretch nylon and 3% spandex).
This premium mercerized cotton lisle dress sock enhances luster of colors and adds extra strength. The stretch nylon provides "give" and stretch for added comfort and is texturized for a silky light touch.

I needed an over-the-calf sock that would keep its elastic intact and not be "itchy" like some woolen socks can be. The AquaFX socks from Gold Toe fit the bill - they're quite long (up to my knee), have great elasticity and are very comfy. Don't know how they'll do after multiple washings, but my last set of Gold Toe Metropolitans lasted 6 years. The whole "AquaFX" concept doesn't really mean all that much as I've not noticed anything special - except that these seem to be well-made, well-fitting socks.
May be the best socks I've ever owned...

I needed socks and have always liked the Gold Toe brand. These are very comfy, have the right amount of stretch, and actually stay up all day.

This is a great sock for men with larger calfs. The elastic is softer but stays up and does not feel as if it is cutting off blood flow.

These are great socks. They're breathable, the band at the top holds up well, sometimes a little too well. The socks are more likely to be a little tight on your calf than fall so I will take that over sliding socks. Overall, I highly recommend them and the price is very reasonable
