Well, when I got the shoes both shoes had markes on them they were browm and white wing tips and on both shoes on the white part of the shoes their were markes almost like ink pen marks that would not come off. I thought about returning them for another pair, but since I bought them only to where very rarly because it was for a cuban style dress day at work I did not return them. Also, I'm not sure what they are made of I think the sole must be made of used tires because they smell like desiel fuel really bad really bad sitting at my desk that day I almose got sick due to the smell.

My husband wears them with his suits in the summer. I must comment though that they did at first have quite a distinct smell.

This shoe was purchased for my son and he loves it. He says it is comfortable but feels one half size longer than it is marked. Great nice quality.
