My husband has been wearing this sandal for the past 10 years. He has plantars fascieitis and gout and these are the only sandals he will wear because they provide the best support and comfort. They also accommodate his orthotic inserts.

This is my 3rd pair of the same sandals. The first two are barely worn on the soles and the uppers would be fine too if I didn't wear them on fishing boats and get them soaked with salt water. This shows I wear them everywhere as they are so comfortable. They have a substantial arch support and the triple straps are adjustable for a perfect fit. As to fit, they run very large. I normally wear a US size 9.5 and initially ordered a size 43 and had to return them. Size 42 is stated as being equivalent to US sizes 8 to 8.5 but they fit me perfectly. Many people have asked me where they can buy them. I believe they are worth every penny because of the comfort, appearance and longevity. I have also purchased two other pairs of Finn Comfort lace up shoes and found them to be excellent as well.

This pair was not the soft bed and I think that is why they feel slightly bigger, the toe ridges are more prominent.The Khaki color has more of a green tint than a tan tint. I was really looking for more of a light tan. So far I have not worn them outside the house. They don't really match or blend that well with my clothes.
