I bought this boot for my 5 year old son. I like the color and style. He can now slip it on easily. It isn't made for an xw foot. He normally wears an xw new balance tennis shoes but his foot might have slimmed up a little. Then again, I don't see me being able to get him to wear another boot anyway!! I always order him a full size up in this boot. I was originally told to do that by a store that sold this boot and he seems to be able to wear it longer. I spot clean this boot on the outside with a damp cloth on the top & clean the bottom so it might last to look nice for my younger son.
Wears this shoe: Hunting, church & sometimes school in fall/winter
