My left foot's a bit larger than the right, so that side seemed tighter, but loosened up with wear. It was -5 this morning with wind chills of -30 in Chicago, but these boots with thick tall Cabela's sox kept my feet warm for a full day of errands. I was on and off buses and climbing over drifts of ice and snow at bus stops where the streets and sidewalks weren't plowed.These have great traction, no falls!I bought these men's boots because I have a wide foot for a woman (4E) and it's hard to find serious boots. I'm impressed! No major break-in needed. I just wore them in the house for a day before this morning. And my orthotics work great in them!
