I like the style of this shoe and years ago I had a pair of GBX sandals and they were very long lasting and well made.This shoe has plenty of room in the toes and is very comfortable after I put new inserts in it.The inserts it comes with are too thin, not comfortable and made the shoe feel loose. After I added a thicker insert the shoe is now a much better fit.

I finally found a dress-casual in a half-boot that has a comfort sole rather than the non-insulating leather soles on most half-boots. They are comfortable right out of the box.I bought these to be able to wear a lift in my right shoe to equalize a difference following knee replacement on my left side. The extra height allows me to wear the lift comfortably. Knee surgery aside, I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for cushion and comfort while maintaining some sense of a dress shoe appearance. So pleased this is the second pair I ordered to have black and brown.
Wears this shoe: Daily in business workplace and also with Sunday suits in church.
